The Beauty of Expression
God wants us to walk in truth. If we are walking in lies, if we are saying things to make ourselves sound cool, we are just building a trap for ourselves. Walk in the truth, there is freedom to be yourself in truth. God has also given unique expressions to each cultures and something that missionaries did that was wrong is that they said this is how you worship God. This is after the people accepted Christ, each cultures have different ways of worshipping. The missionaries tell them to stand up and sing when you worship and told them to cover their bodies with clothes like them. They tried to conform them to their culture. They told the people of different cultures that their expression of worship is wrong and the way they dress and present themselves is also wrong. So hearing these twisted lies of God made all of the world loose their unique expression or think our view of God is demonic. We need to share with the rest of the world that their culture is not wrong and that God loves their worship in their own unique expression because he created us uniquely. As Christians we have to realize that in our culture there is fraud. We need to apply God’s culture to our culture and we have to know that God is unique. God doesn’t expect us to just sing. He wants us to express our worship to him in our unique ways. We are his beautiful people and we really need to know that and listen to him say that daily.

Family Partings
It seems that good-bye is a word all too prevalent in the Christian's vocabulary. Missionaries know it well. Those who send them know it, too. The doctor who leaves the city to work in the jungle hospital has said it. Those who feed the hungry, those who teach the lost, all know the word good-bye.
Airports. Luggage. Embraces. Tailgates. "Wave to grandma." Tears. Bus terminals. Ship docks. "Good-bye, Daddy." Tight throats. Ticket counters. Misty eyes. "Write me!"
Question: What kind of God would give you families and then ask you to leave them? What kind of God would give you friends and then ask you to say good-bye?
Answer: A God who knows that we are only pilgrims and that eternity is so close that any "Good-bye" is in reality a "See you tomorrow."

Two Worlds Collide
Open sores, crying for help.
Babes malnourished and left dead.
Bottoms of soles holding onto to nothing but hope.
Where is the love in this world?
Does it come anytime soon?
My My, Oh My
how many times do I gotta say
Our world must collide
to see the face of God
work in this place.
Happiness, is fleeting.
People, ordinary people, racing to get gone.
Each of their hearts cry, oh they cry.
Lips are yelling Why won't you leave?
And when will you go away?
There's nothing but a sad goodbye
but when our world collide
My My, Oh My
how many times do I gotta say
Our world must collide
to see the face of God
work in this place.
My My, Oh My
God is our grace bonding us to be in no race.
Why Why, can't you see
You will open your eyes and know me
when you collide at this time.
A day, oh that day.
It's gonna be a day
we will turn our sin away
knowing that there is more than pain.
Only to look and realize,
Our Fathers Love.

Let's Get Started
Some of you may know that I aspire to be a difference in this world. I know I am an individual, and individuals can become more then they know when they believe. I hope to know one day what that is, but for now I look to not only God but Gandhi and Mother Teresa as historical archetypes. They help put life into a whole new perspective for me.I find that many other perspectives can easily distract my mind and cause me to loose focus in my dream. In all of life's commotion I want to do one thing above all things, bring hope and justice to those stripped of it. Don't get me wrong, I love life and believe it's a beautiful gift but I just want to give my best effort to the kingdom of God. Maybe someday with mine and others efforts, we will know how to live in harmony. I know I have an optimistic mind but that's okay because it helps.
This blog will hopefully help you to journey along side with me on this adventure God has laid out for me. I am so excited for this new chapter and where god will take me in it. I believe he is going to grow and stretch me in so many ways s o I can become more of a humble servant in his kingdom. I can already tell that he has a lot in store for me and is wanting me to grow and I have not left yet. This is a very exciting journey and I hope you will all enjoy it just as much as I do. Thank you for your support!
Lots of love,
Kelly. :)
